Llanyrafon Manor Farm – Event Hire
Llanyrafon Manor Farm is a remarkable 16th-century gentry house, built on the site of an earlier Cistercian monks’ farm. The Manor is widely regarded as one of the most historically significant and reportedly haunted locations in the world, offering an exceptional setting for paranormal investigations.

Please note: outdoor event set-ups are not included within the hire.
Team Requirements
Groups for public resale must provide Public Liability Insurance
Minimum of two team members must remain onsite at all times
Hire Prices
Ghost Hunt (7:30pm – 2:30am)
Up to 24 guests – £450
Sleepover Ghost Hunt (7pm – 9am)
Up to 24 guests (17 beds + 7 camp beds) – £650
Weekend Hire (Friday 5pm – Sunday 10am)
Up to 24 guests – price available on request
Deposit
£100 deposit for standard bookings
£300 deposit for weekend hire
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable
Balance payment must be made 21 days before the event.
Failure to meet the payment schedule will result in loss of the booking and deposit.

The Manor sits within 3 acres of grounds, which may also be used for paranormal investigation.
Please note:
Noise must be kept to a minimum after 10pm
Loud parties, PA systems, amplifiers, drumming, karaoke and alcohol or illegal drugs are not permitted

First Floor
Florence – 1 double (Sleeps 2)
Middle Chamber – 2 single beds (Sleeps 2) - 1 single is a small four poster bed
Great Chamber – 1 double & double sofa bed (Sleeps 4)
Attic
Boys Room – 3 single beds (Sleeps 3)
Nursery – 5 single beds (Sleeps 5)
Additional 8 camp beds available.
Guests must bring:
Bedding / sleeping bags
Pillows
Bottom sheets are provided.
Important Rules
No naked flames permitted anywhere in the property
Historical artefacts and props must not be touched
Smoking and vaping are permitted only in the designated outdoor area
Please use the provided bins for cigarette disposal

History
Llanyrafon Manor Farm is the oldest non-religious building in Cwmbran and is listed as a Grade II* historic property. The site was once a Cistercian monastic farm (grange), elements of which remain visible today. The name Cwmbran translates to “Valley of the Crows.”
Reported Paranormal Activity
The Manor has a long history of reported paranormal experiences, including:
Sightings of a Cistercian monk walking the grounds
Shadow figures and unexplained footsteps
Spirits of two children reportedly seen and heard in the attic
Reports of a young boy calling for his mother in upstairs corridors
Loud footsteps on the main staircase
Doors opening or banging unexpectedly
Sightings of a spectral cat
Poltergeist activity reported in the tearoom
Unexplained flickering lights between the Great Hall and Great Chamber
Some visitors have even reported seeing a ghostly horse and carriage approaching the Manor during a full moon.
